Charlotte Turner

SCHENECTADY – Charlotte I. Turner, 91, of Schenectady, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2005. She was born in Switzerland and was a resident of the Pine Bush area for most of her life. Mrs. Turner enjoyed gardening. Charlotte was the wife of the late Lester H. Turner. She is survived by her son and his wife, James H. and Janice Turner of Porter Corners, and her grandchildren, Bill and Kevin Sweet, Robin Devito and Jaye Miller. Several nieces and nephews also survived. Charlotte was predeceased by her sisters, Tillie Nieman, Helen Miller, Julia Hay and Ida Krounse.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 noon at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Avenue). Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Charlotte I. Turner.
