Charnissa C. Walker

Albany- Charnissa C. Walker, 41, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Charnissa was the daughter of the late Steven Caughman, Jacqueline Walker, and step-father, Kenneth Rivers (PoPo).

Charnissa loved to cook, and she held a cooking degree from Glenmont Job Core. She also had a love of traveling, and spending time with friends.

Charnissa is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Walker; step-father, Kenneth Rivers; brothers: Kenneth F. Walker and Corenelius Clark; God mommy, Roxanne McKay; 5 nieces and nephews: Devonte Walker, Soley Walker Jordan, Elijah Clark Callahan, Cassidy Clark, and Gabriel Clark; God brothers: Oliver D. Rivers, Jr., R. Kaream Rivers, and Isaiah Matthew Ballard; God daughter, Maiya McCann; God sister, Shawana Thomas; Special friends: Caitie Rivera, Sabrina, and Mr. Herbert Williams; and a host of other friends and relatives.

A calling hour will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Friday August 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a service to follow at 5:00 pm.
