SELKIRK – Cheryl A. Slurff, 58, passed away on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at the Hospice Inn.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late McClellan Dyer and Lillian Kelly. Cheryl had worked in retail for many years. She was antique doll collector and enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
Cheryl is the wife of Edward J. Slurff. She is the mother of David Slurff, Chet Bolinger and Heather Slurff. She is the sister of Donna Benedict, Darlene Ryan, Robert Muller, William Muller, Duane Hull, Debbie Mitchell. Holly Kelly, Harry Kelly and the late Terry, Kenneth and Dennis. She is the cherished grandmother of Alec, Brayden and Colin Bolinger. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Cheryl A. Slurff.
