Troy - Cheryl Helene (Meliski) Birdsall, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Cheryl was the daughter of the late Theresa and Anthony Meliski.
Cheryl loved her family; she was a proud and devoted mother to her sons. She enjoyed traveling, where she captured many beautiful photographs, especially of the ocean.
Cheryl will be forever missed by her sons, Michael Birdsall, and Patrick Birdsall, brother, Anthony (Mary) Meliski, brother in law, Kevin Birdsall, sister in law, Cathy Hamilton, along with many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl is predeceased by her brother, Dennis, brother in law, Bruce Hamilton, and Father and Mother in law, Albert and Charlotte Birdsall.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will take place following at 7:00 pm. The burial will take place privately by the family at a later date.
