Cheryl (Sherry) Chilton, 73, of Schenectady NY, passed away on April 1st, 2020 at Ellis Hospital. Cheryl was a long time resident of Schenectady New York.
She is the daughter and only child of the late Marguerite Ferguson and Eugene Birdsey born on October 29th, 1946.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Kimberly Matteo (James), Jeff Chilton, Korey Jane O'Neal and Joshua Chilton. As well as her grandchildren; Maxwell Matteo, Austin Matteo, Quinten O'Neal and Miko O'Neal.
Cheryl worked for the Schenectady City School District for many years, which she enjoyed, made several friends and retired from in 2017. At an earlier point in her life she was an active member of Stanford United Methodist Church, where she also made lifelong friends. She cherished holiday traditions and enjoyed travel especially to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with family.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by several other beloved relatives (grandmothers, great aunts, aunts, uncles and cousins), all whom were dear to her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
