Cohoes- Cheryl L. Piccirillo, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Cheryl was the daughter of the late Janet (Robert) Waters.
Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She loved shopping and spending time in nature. Most of all, Cheryl enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Cheryl was a loving person who spent her time helping her community and at one point even ran a soup kitchen. She truly had a passion for cooking and charity. She will be truly missed by all those who had loved her and she loved. Her recipes will be passed down and cherished by her family.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Chelsea R. Piccirillo and Robin M. (Deshon) Dandridge; grandchildren, Sierra (Luis Castro) Comtois, Janae Comtois, Deshon "JoJo" Dandridge, II, Aiden Piccirillo, Michael Smith, Ajahne Dandridge; great-granddaughter, Avira Campbell; brothers, Michael (Debbie) Reynolds and Robert "Bobby" (Leslie) Waters; step-brother, Billy Waters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cheryl was predeceased by her first husband and dear friend, Kenneth Comtois.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Monday June 24, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm and 2:30pm to 3:00 pm with a service being held from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
The family requests that donations be made in Cheryl's name to your local soup kitchen.
