Chris Malossi

Chris Malossi, 64, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. Born in Albany he was the son of the late of Dolores and Leo Italio Malossi. He leaves behind his brother, Scott MaLossi who resides in Schenectady, his sister, Erica Moss, who resides in Austin, TX, and a second sister, Liane MaLossi Kerbyson, who resides in Henniker, NH. He also leaves behind his many caretakers at Living Resources who treated him with kindness and respect throughout his life.

Chris has been a beloved member of the Living Resources family for many years. Chris loved life and loved to do it his way. He liked things arranged just so, and meticulously to his liking. He loved to dance, put on a show, and laugh with the people in his life – often instigating a joke or letting himself be at the center of it. His laughter would fill the room and he'd need to wipe a tear from his eye before he was done. He was mischievous and silly, and rooted everyone on in all things. Even when he was sick or having a bad day, Chris was still a joyful and happy person. He would pat you on the top of the head and let you know he was alright – then tell you what he wanted you to do for him!

In addition to all of this, Chris will be remembered for his love of Uno cards and markers (always finding the non-washable ones when his clothes were new or just washed), his infectious smile, his dislike for belts and socks and for embracing each day like it was the best day ever. He brought out the best in others just by being himself. Just Chris.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10am at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. Burial will follow at Galway Village Cemetery.
