Christine A. Doto (Raimo), 73, beloved wife of Gerardo "Jerry" Doto, entered into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus with her family by her side on February 18, 2022. Born on June 22, 1948 to Eugene and Vincenzina "Jane" Raimo. A life-long resident of Albany, Christine attended Vincentian Institute (VI) graduating in 1966. Christine went on to earn her nursing degree from HVCC in 1969, and married the love of her life Jerry on August 2, 1969 and together they raised three daughters.
Christine was employed as a Registered Nurse at area hospitals, primarily serving our veterans at the Stratton VA Hospital for 18 years before retiring to be with her family. While retired, Christine enjoyed working with students and staff as an Aide at the Voorheesville Elementary School. Christine was known for her kind and generous spirit along with her heartfelt smiles and joyfulness which she shared while serving and helping others.
Christine is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Jerry; her three daughters: Jeanette, Michelle, and Antoinette (Nancy); her beloved four granddaughters: Sara, Sophia, Gianna and Emma; her two sisters: Diane (Ralph) LeBarron and Theresa (John) Norvici, as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and her many friends and acquaintances.
Christine is predeceased by her parents Eugene and Jane Raimo, her grandson Luke Christopher Micheli, and her nephew Leonardo Sparacio.
Christine will always be remembered for her devout faith, strong patriotism, selfless generosity, and compassionate love for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie on Friday March 4, 2022 from 4pm - 7pm. A Christian Service will be held at New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 10am, with interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery at 1389 Central Avenue, Colonie.
