Christine Sagendorf

GUILDERLAND-Christine E. Sagendorf, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital following a long battle with lung disease.

Christine was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of Elizabeth (Butlin) and the late Samuel A. Daguillo. She graduated from Guilderland Central High School in 1969. Christine recently retired as the Transportation Supervisor, having worked her way up at Guilderland Central Schools. She loved the ocean, but especially loved her family and beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Christine is survived by her son K. Stephen (Amy) Sagendorf of Denver, CO; her daughter Jennifer Sagendorf of Albany; her grandchildren Anthony, Madison, Peyton and Brynn; her sisters Kathleen (Norris) Ackert of Guilderland, Karen (Joe) Vivenzio of Altamont and Pauline (Sheila) Zolner of Averill Park; her sister in law Sherry Daguillo and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Christine was predeceased by her husband Kenneth W. Sagendorf and by her two brothers Sammy and Jerry Daguillo.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
