Albany- Christine A. VanDeusen, 88, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Peter and Grace VanDeusen. Christine is predeceased by her sister Ida Geddies and her brother James VanDeusen.
Christine is survived by her beloved daughter Ida Swann and son-in-law Roy Swann of Albany, two grandchildren; Sharon Swann-Elliott of Albany and Roy Swann and his wife Sunilda of Selkirk. She is also survived by four great-grandsons; Thomas, Tracey, Keith (Roy, Jr.) and Justin, and two nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205 in memory of Christine A. VanDeusen.
