Christine L. Williams

1958 — 2025

On March 26th, Christine Willams peacefully transitioned from this life into the arms of Jesus.

Christine was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on May 31, 1958, to the late Paul Logan and Irene Facey. She spent a great deal of her early years between Albany and Florida.

A graduate of Albany High, she would go on to work for the State of New York. Her years of service with NYS encompassed the years of 3/25/1981 - 7/3/2003. First working for NYS OVR (Office if Vocational Rehabilitation), later the NYS Archeology Department and then VESID (Vocational Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities), now known as Access VR. These worksites all fall under the umbrella of the NYS Dept of Education.

She met and married the love of her life, Larry at the Bethany Baptist Church then pastored by Rev. Richard I. Headley. They raised two daughters, Christina and Dorothy. Under the leadership of Rev. John B. Killikelly, her faith in God flourished and her service to the Lord blossomed as she became a Deaconess, a role she took very seriously.

Chris had a loving spirit and a great love for people. She had a great memory for special days, and she would remember your birthday probably better than you did. She will be greatly missed.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings; Mary Janette Facey, Donald Duarte, Linda Logan and her brother in laws; Martin Williams and Anthony Williams.

Chris leaves to mourn her memory her loving and devoted husband Larry. Her daughters, Christina M. Fiederer and Dorothy I. (Caleb) Blake. Her 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Christopher and Arieana Fiederer, Gerard, Ethan, Jordan, and Kali Blake. Her siblings; Sandra Facey; John Biff, Daniel Duarte; Joey Dallas Logan; Kimberly Longmire; Jessie (Earl) Gregory and Mary Hudson. Her loving Mother-in-Law, Dorothy Williams. Her sisters & brothers in laws; Caroline Polk, Sherrill Jackson, Leroy, Alan (Debra) and Stanley Williams; Kimberly (Carl) Lyons. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
