ROTTERDAM – Christopher A. Wagner, 50, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 5, 2012.
Chris was born on November 4, 1961 in Niskayuna and is the beloved son of Bernard H. and Betty A. (VanWormer) Wagner of Dunnsville. He graduated from Guilderland High School in 1979.
Chris was employed by Liftech Equipment Company as a shop foreman for 24 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved animals, could fix anything, and was always willing to help anyone. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Chris was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend with a big heart and a very unique sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lynn Wagner; his loving son, Kyle Christopher Wagner; his mother-in-law, Ann Reynolds; his brother, Floyd (Joyce) Wagner of Dunnsville; his sister, Cindy (Mike) Jones of Fuquay Varina, NC; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Reynolds of Hudson, FL; his sister-in-law, Carol Reynolds of Rotterdam; his dear nieces and nephews, Jessica Reynolds, Angela (Larry) Geiger, Hannah Wagner, Giordan Wagner, Melissa (Steven) McCormick, Michael Jones; his great nephews, Greyson and Rylan McCormick; his beloved dogs, Joey and Rosie and well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, William Reynolds.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday.
