Christopher Brian Eckert

September 29, 1988 — November 17, 2021

Christopher Brian Eckert, 33, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Thailand after a long illness.

Christopher was the son of Randolph Bowers, Sr. and Rose Eckert. Christopher graduated from Bethlehem High School in 2006.

Christopher proudly served with the United States Army and was a Purple Heart Combat Veteran who served in Ramadi Iraq during 2006 to 2007. Christopher was medically discharged in 2008 due to his injuries.

He enjoyed playing the guitar and traveling. He was an animal lover and could talk for hours to his friends and family and had a heart of gold.

In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by his sister and brothers, Jessica (Jon) Watson, Randy Bowers and Kyle Bowers. He was also survived by his grandparents and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousin and close friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Memorial service will follow the calling hours at 4:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Save a Warrior, P.O. Box 218117, Columbus, OH 43221 in Christopher's memory.
