Christopher James Hogan

Christopher James Hogan, 28, born in Albany, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at home in his sleep. Christopher was the son of Keith and Lisa (Rees) Hogan.
Christopher attended Boght Hills Elementary School, LaSalle, CBA and finished at Shaker High School. He played football starting with Pop Warner and then played at Shaker High School. He was chosen out of 60 players in the country to play football at Milfred Academy Prep School. He attended College at Southern Connecticut University.
He enjoyed racing snowmobiles since he was 3 years old on the grass or on the snow cross track. Skiing at Jiminy Peek Mountain, boating and jet skiing on Lake George, riding dirt bikes on the ice, deer hunting. He liked to travel and hang out with his friends whether it was in Albany, Saratoga or Bolton Landing, but most of all spending time with his girlfriend, Jordann Bernardo.
He was proud to be working with his father in their Hogan's Paving Business. A true Father & Son business! Their companionship was unmeasurable. Starting their day off at Dunkin' Donuts getting their medium French Vanilla Swirl hot coffee cream & sugar. Working side by side in 80 to 100 degree weather along with their fantastic crew of men!
Christopher had an unbelievable work ethic that he learned from his father. Christopher said five years ago I had a dollar and a dream, I put everything I had into my dream, and let me tell you all of the hard work is paying off. #GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Christopher was an amazing, compassionate and caring person, always helping others. Family meant Everything to him. The family memories that we made will always be cherished. Never could anyone imagine that you would be burying your child at such a young age. He had his whole best life in front of him. We will never forget your big blue eyes and that killer smirk smile!
You now are with your loving Grandma and Papa.
Christopher is survived by his mom and dad, Lisa and Keith Hogan, his sister Jessica Hogan, his future brother in law Paul Little. His grandparents David Rees and Nancy Hogan, his uncles, Robert (Joy) Rees and Jim Hogan. He is also survived by many cousins both first and second here in the Tri City area and over seas in Great Britain.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Thursday August 18, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday August 19, 2022 at 10:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie, New York.
