Christopher Jackson

Christopher C. Jackson, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 25, 2016 at his home.

Chris was the son of Michael Jackson and Mary Jean (Luby) Jackson.

Chris graduated from St. James Grade School, Bishop Maginn High School and continued on to graduate from Hudson Valley Community College.

Chris was owner and operator of Jackson HVAC in Albany for several years.

He was an avid horse racing enthusiast and he enjoyed making music. He played football for Albany Pop Warner and Bishop Maginn; and basketball for St. James.

Chris was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Robert S. and Joan F. Jackson, his maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen (Daley) Berhaupt and his uncle Gary Luby.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his sister, Stephanie (Jason) Cosco; his maternal grandfather, Fred Berhaupt; his aunts and uncles; TJ (Jan) Jackson, Dan Jackson, Mary Beth (Tom) Huyck, Karen (Kevin) Ryan, Fred (Stacey Garhartt) Berhaupt. He is also survived by several cousins, close family members, friends, especially "His Girl", Meaghan Hupe.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at The Parish of Mater Christi 35 Hurst Ave. Albany, NY 12208. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
