Christopher M. Foster

ALBANY – Christopher M. Foster, 47, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his home.
Christopher was born on June 5, 1964 in Schenectady to Sheila Stanhope and the late Martin H. Foster. He graduated from Albany High School and received his associates' degree from HVCC. He worked at Albany Medical Center Hospital in the HR department as a nurse recruiter until his retirement in 2010.
Chris was an avid Beatle fan, a New York Yankee fan and an all around sports fan. He was a devoted son, brother and friend.
Chris is survived by his loving mother, Sheila Stanhope; his siblings, Janine, Eryn, Marta, Nicole and Dan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Ellen and Alden Stanhope and Virginia and Henry Foster.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org) in memory of Christopher M. Foster.
