Christopher M. Wickens

QUEENSBURY – Christopher M. Wickens, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2008.
Christopher was born on November 4, 1981 in Galveston, Texas to Denise K. O'Brien and Michael S. Wickens. He worked as a manager for Chili's in Clifton Park.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Sarah A. Wickens; his mother, Denise K. O'Brien; his father and stepmother, Michael S. and Lisa Wickens; his sister, Jennifer Wickens; his stepbrothers, Ryan and Patrick Cahill; his grandparents, Katherine O'Brien, Leo O'Brien and his companion Shari Cappotto, and Tom and Martha Dutcher; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A true fisherman with a love for the outdoors, a lifelong 49ers fan with a courageous gentle soul and passion for all music. Christopher valued loyalty, love, his time with family and friends and homemade cookies. He had a heart too big for this world.
A celebration of Christopher's life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
