Christopher J. Marcello of Amsterdam NY passed away at Albany Medical Center on August 11, 2020 at the age of 38.
Born in Niskayuna on September 19, 1981 he was the son of Linda and Charles Marcello.
Christopher was a warrior, He had fought and overcome so very much in his lifetime. The moments spent with him were unforgettable by all those around him. Chris' infectious smile and contagious laugh will be remembered by all who loved him. He was an avid dog lover and would spend hours just throwing the tennis ball with his puppers. He loved concerts, football, camping, and attending all the fiestas he could. One of his favorite things to do was pace and yell at the New Orleans saints games.
Chris loved to jam out to some phish and dance around the kitchen. He was the most kind, caring, and courageous man one could meet. He would move mountains for the ones he loved. He loved to travel and spent as much time as he could at the ocean.
Though his life was cut far too short his love will live on in the hearts of many. He was absolutely one of a kind. Christopher was predeceased by his pup " big man" Wilson and his maternal grandparents Joseph and Mary Morton. He is survived by his mother Linda Marcello , brother Jason Marcello, nephews Brody and Dylan Marcello, life partner Amanda Rowback, and his two pups Logan and Petey.
A memorial service will be held at New Comer Funeral Home on Monday August 17, 2020 from 4-6pm
Social distancing practices will be in effect and masks are required in the building.
