Christopher J. Morawski

Albany- Christopher J. Morawski , 54, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. Chris was the son of Elizabeth and the late John Morawski.

Chris worked as an Engineer for General Electric in Schenectady, for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, skiing, camping, and especially doing all the above with his children. Chris generously gave his time to help anyone that needed it, he will always be remembered for his kind heart and loving ways.

Chris is survived by his children, Stephen, Michael, and Christina Morawski, sister, Caron (Tom) Lowe, niece, Breanne Lowe, nephew, Brandon Lowe, along with several loving family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held following calling hours at 2:00 pm. The burial will take place privately, at the discretion of the family, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris's name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
