Cindy A. Herderich

NISKAYUNA, NY – Cindy A. Herderich, 48, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Joyce Psyk. Cindy lived in Niskayuna for all of her life. She was currently working at Lishakill Middle School. Cindy enjoyed spending time on the river with her many friends and especially enjoyed boating in "A" Bay. Cindy is the beloved wife of almost 26 years to Walter E. Herderich. She is the devoted and loving mother of Walter David and Kevin Herderich. She is the sister of Susan (Eric) Dratler and the aunt of Joshua Dratler. Also surviving is her uncle, John (Linda) Racko as well as cousins and many friends. Special thanks are extended to Cindy's co-workers and friends at Lishakill Middle School for all of their support and kindness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Cindy A. Herderich.
