Cindy Speanburg, 57, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Cindy was the daughter of Alfred Schnare and Christel Schnare.
Cindy worked for Albany Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse for many years and was a member of the Albany Memorial Nurses Alumni Association. She later worked for New York State Department of Transportation as a nurse.
She loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family at her home in Florida.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Lauren Speanburg. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Stephen Kohler and her brother Dale (Brenda) Schnare.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York, 4 Pine West Plaza Albany, NY 12205, in Cindy's memory.
Calling hours will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the Service in Riverside Cemetery, Coxsackie, NY.
