Claire V. Greene

Albany, NY- Claire V. Greene, age 83, peacefully passed away on May 29, 2024, at St. Peter’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late John and Anna O’Leary. She was also predeceased by her husband Ronnie Greene and siblings: Sonny O’Leary, Sissy Doran, Doris Mendez and her twin Danny O’Leary.

Claire was proud of her Irish heritage and her Brooklyn roots.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing Bingo, having lunch with friends and participating in Silver Sneakers.
She loved watching black & white movies and was an avid fan of wrestling.

She is survived by her children: John (Sheri) Biscotti, Laurie (Bela) Schuch and Linda Bonesteel; grandchildren: Richie (Liz), Danie (Glenn), Jimmy (Meg), Ethan (Emily), Garrett (Brittany), Jenn (Steve), John, Valerie (Robert), Dan (Maya), Sam (Kyle); 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother Mickey O’Leary and sister Noreen Kidney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on June 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
