COLONIE – Clara Bell Reittinger, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Clara was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Louis and Celia (Morey) Peart. She worked as a janitorial supervisor at the Picotte Building in Albany for many years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Clara is survived by her loving children, Frank (Laura) Reittinger III, Deborah Reittinger and James Reittinger all of Colonie; her cherished grandchildren, Dennis Ray, and Katie, Lilie, and Nicole Reittinger; her brothers, Gerald and James Peart and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Reittinger Jr., her granddaughter, Olivia Jayne Reittinger and her brothers, Louis, Alfred and Thomas Peart.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Francis de Sales Church, 1 Maria Dr. Loudonville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
