Clara Ritchie

STATESVILLE, NC-Clara Agnes Ritchie, 86 of Statesville, NC, formerly from Delanson, NY passed away peacefully on June 18, 2012 at the Dickson Hospice House in North Carolina. She was born on November 6, 1925.
Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother. Besides family she loved to do crossword puzzles and play bingo, she also loved to travel making many trips to New York or Florida, mostly to see family but also to enjoy the ride.
Clara was predeceased by her husband of many years Leroy J. Ritchie, and her grandson Robert Butler Jr., she is survived by her children, sons Ronald Butler of Miami, Florida, Robert Butler, of Quaker Street, New York, Leroy Ritchie Jr., of Statesville North Carolina, and daughters Carol Johnson, of Stoney Point, North Carolina, Joan Jones of Asheville, North Carolina. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Levine & Dickson Hospice House, North Carolina for their exceptional care and love.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY with a funeral immediately following at 11:30 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Albany, NY
