GUILDERLAND – Clare K. Kelly McNamara, 83, of Guilderland, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at home. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Adrienne Kelly. Mrs. McNamara attended St. Mary's School in Lawrence, MA. She was an Albany resident for most of her life. Clare was a licensed practical nurse for many years. Mrs. McNamara was a communicant of Christ the King Church and a member of their Rosary Society. She is survived by her nephew, William H. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Patricia. Also surviving are several nieces. Clare was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. McNamara.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 10:00 at Christ the King Church, Guilderland. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at the funeral home on Sunday at 4:30 for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome.
