Clarence Maxwell born on February 21, 1958, son to the late Marshall Samuel Maxwell and Mary Elizabeth White Maxwell Paupaw, step father Richard Donald Paupaw. Brother of Sherwin Maxwell, step siblings, Donald Paupaw, Richard Paupaw, Michael Paupaw, Warren Paupaw, and Anna Paupaw.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Nellie Zimmerman Maxwell and their four children, Elijah Zimmerman, Danet Rice, Jasimine Brunson, Sherwin Brunson and a host of stepchildren, a host of grandchildren and great grand children, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Clarence went to New York City Public School and attended Automotives High School, He was a "Jack of all Trades" and he enjoyed cooking, grilling and having fun. Clarence served in the Army and retired with an honorable discharge.
His father called him home on May 25, 2020.
