Clarice M. Wilson

CLARICE M. WILSON passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York after a long battle with cancer.

Clarice was born on April 27,1942 to the late Everett and Marion (Walden) Wilson. She was raised in Albany, New York and educated in the Albany City Public School system.

She later worked as a maid in a hotel and at the Steuben Athletics Club both located in Albany.

In addition to her parents, Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Everett Wilson, her sister Gracie Wilson, and her grandson Howard James Ingram Jr.

Clarice leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children - her son Kevin Wilson of Albany, New York; her two daughters, Darlene Vedder of Watervilet, NY and Tammy Ingram (Howard) of Schenectady, NY; 13 grandchildren, Clarissa Wilson, Iris Wilson, Ashley Wilson, and Asiana Wilson all of Albany, New York and Tony Hamiln (Nikki), Kevin Duell, Jasmine Skokan (Chris), Jahlon Ingram , Shareaf Ingram, Carmen Ingram, Sincere Ingram, Fuquan Ingram, Chyna Ingram; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Guy Wilson of Albany, New York; one sister-in-law Mary Wilson (Albany, New York); her nephews, LaBaron Wilson (Albany, New York), and Billy Wilson (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania); her nieces, Wanda (Schenectady, New York), Nelly Wilson and Pam Wilson both of Albany, New York; and a host of greatnieces and great-nephews.


Relatives and friends may call from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Wednesday, September 2 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm in the funeral home.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
