Clarissa Brown

Clarissa Brown, 66, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Violet Mae Braddock and the late Vorna Braddock, took her journey to heaven on April 20, 2011. Clarissa attended Albany Public Schools. She was employed at Winthrop Sterling, until her retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, George Brown; one son Manoleto S. Brown. Her sister, Mary Jean; her brothers, Charles and Vorna Jr.; her Uncle John L. Arrington; her Aunt Hattie Arrington; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 11:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in Clarissa's memory.
