Clifford J. Loucks of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Albany NY, 83, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his home at Morse Life. Cliff was born to the late Clayton and Margaret Loucks in Albany, NY on June 7, 1933.
He has joined his late wife Betty is Heaven, and is survived by his children and their spouses John and Karen Loucks (Bear Creek, PA), Bonnie and Gene Mulligan (Jupiter, FL), and Darlene Loucks (Raleigh, NC).
He is also survived by his three grandchildren and their spouses; Andrew and Kat Loucks, Peter Loucks, and Philip and Shannon Loucks. Cliff also had two great grandchildren, Isaac and Abigail, as well as four step grandchildren and spouses. Pat Mulligan, Colleen and Chris DeSelms, Michele and Larry Volke, and Michael and Katie Mulligan, as well as three step great grandchildren, Brady, Meghan and Sean.
Cliff had a deep love for his family. He was always giving a kind smile, loved goofing around with his grandkids and always up for a game of Dominos or Canasta for anyone who was brave enough to play him. His wit and intelligence were unmatched, and even though he had a more stoic demeanor, he showed nothing but love and appreciation for his family. Cliff was a faithful servant throughout his life; first to our country in the Air Force during the Korean War, and throughout the years in the churches he belonged to. During the last decade, Cliff was a beacon of smiles, happiness and embodied a laughter that would make anyone feel warm, overjoyed and right at home.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Loudonville Community Church, 374 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211, on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery following the funeral service.
