Clifford M. Sanger

Schenectady- Clifford M. Sanger, 74, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 after a courageous battle with a long illness. Clifford was the son of the late Clifford and Catherine Sanger.

Clifford worked for General Electric most of his life where he also retired. Clifford was devoted to his family, friends and his workers union. Clifford enjoyed telling stories especially about family history. He loved the outdoors mainly camping and the Adirondacks. He enjoyed spending time with his family and making his grandchildren laugh.

Clifford is survived by his four daughters; Pamela Nadolski (Edward), Janet Simmons, Jennifer Wescott (Robert), Jacqueline Shafer. Clifford is also survived by his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and his five siblings.

Clifford is predeceased by his grandson, Raymond Thomas.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 1st 2015 from 5:00pm- 7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY. A service will be held Monday, March 2nd starting at 12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
