Cody Anthony Parker

Colonie - Cody Anthony Parker, 28, passed away on November 21, 2018 in Florida. Born on July 30, 1990, he was the son of Tracy Porcaro and Scott Parker. He was the brother of Joseph Colfels, Grady Parker and Jack Parker; loving grandson to, Patricia Porcaro and the late Frank Porcaro and Cora Parker; nephew to Lori (Mike) Fusco, Lynda (John) Holbrook and Karen Porcaro; he was special cousin to, Dillon Catlin and Michael Fusco. He was also survived by his loving canine companion, Piper.

Cody was a graduate from Colonie Central High School 2008.

There was nothing more important to Cody than his family and friends. Cody spent much of his adult life helping & mentoring those he came in contact with. Although his personal battles were difficult at times, it never stopped him from going above and beyond to make sure the people he loved were taken care of. Cody will always be remembered for his smile, heart and his strong presence. Cody's family hopes his story and influence will help someone in need to seek help. Cody's Mom was his greatest love and supporter.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday, November 30 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Saturday, December 1 at Christ our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Albany. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
