CONROE, TX - Colleen Hallinan Farago left this earth following a battle with Alzheimer's Disease on October 27, 2006 at the age of 84. She was born in Tampa, Florida on December 8, 1921 to the parents of Inez and Thaddeus Hallinan. She was the first of three beautiful children. Her two brothers are: Terence Hallinan and Dennis Hallinan. When she was 5 years old, the family moved to Winter Haven, Florida where the family of five enjoyed life on Lake Roy. Colleen graduated Winter Haven High School and then went to an all girls college in Tallahassee, Florida. She enjoyed two good and fun college years.
Colleen enjoyed traveling and did much traveling throughout the United States and lived in Mexico for six months. She married her beloved husband, Frank Farago in September, 1964. They lived most of their lives together in New York State. They raised a family and are survived by three children: Ronald Farago resides in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. Priscilla Daly and her husband Robert Daly are living in the Houston, Texas area. Eric Farago and his wife Judy Farnan-Farago are living in Mechanicville, New York. Colleen is also survived by two grandchildren: Thomas Daly and his wife, Gricelda Rocha-Daly residing in San Marcos, Texas and Katheryn Marie Daly-Kissiah and her husband Lauran Kissiah residing in El Paso, Texas. Colleen is also survived by her two younger brothers, Terence and Dennis who continue to reside in Winter Haven, Florida.
Colleen loved life and family. She will be missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 noon at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 11am to 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
