Colleen G. Ford 96, of Albany, passed away peacefully after receiving her Last Rites on December 3rd, 2021.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Grace) Snow. She is survived by four children, Albert (Donna) Lounello, Donna Lounello, Susan (Michael) Gaffney and Timothy (Michelle) Ford, her daughter-in-law, Linda Lounello, as well as her grandchildren Shelly, Audra, Colleen, Barry Jr., Jaimee, Keeley, Marcus and Ryan, and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Harry Ford Sr., her beloved sons Michael and Barry Lounello, as well as her siblings.
Colleen loved cooking, talking on the phone, and reading books, but most of all loved sitting around the kitchen table with her children reminiscing about the good old days in Albany.
Her family would like to extend gratitude towards The Teresian House for their care over the years, as well as the ladies on staff that always painted her nails when she requested.
A private burial will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Teresian House or Colleen's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
