Colleen E. Wright, 51, of Albany, passed away on November 30, 2021 at home.
She was born on October 27, 1970 to the late Charles Nelson and Maureen O'Riordan in Albany, NY.
Colleen worked as a Bus Driver for the South Colonie School District before going on to CDTA.
She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. Colleen was a friend to everyone she met and had a heart of gold. Her smile and baked goods knew how to instantly warm up a room. You knew there would be fun wherever she was, whether she was going for a bike ride or helping a friend in need.
Colleen is survived by her daughter Jordan Nelson, grandchildren Patricia, Auriella and Kieran, siblings Charleen Pascariello, Christina Riordan and Steven Osuchowski, stepfather Steven F. Osuchowksi as well as nephews Thomas and Michael and many friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Colonie, New York.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering to be held following the visitation at The Kings Inn, 6 McDonald Ave, Schenectady, NY
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands
