COLONIE – Concetta Cramer, 80, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Faranda. She had resided in Colonie for 55 years. Connie enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and shopping and having lunch with her two sisters. She especially loved spending time with her cherished family. She was a long time communicant of St. Clare's Church in Colonie. Connie was the beloved wife of John H. Cramer until his passing in 1999. She is the loving and devoted mother of Mary L. (the late Leonard) Bishop of Latham, Deborah A. (David) Van Vorst of Cohoes and Paul (the late Tina Gustin) Cramer of Colonie. Connie is the loving sister of Grace Caulkins, Joseph Faranda, Jensie Hoffman and the late Phillip and John Faranda. She is the cherished grandmother of Renee Dames and Leonard, Amy and John Bishop. Also surviving are eight great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 8:15 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Clare's Church, Colonie where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Concetta Cramer.
