ALBANY- Concetta M. Dominski, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 28, 2018 at her home.
Connie was born on July 22, 1949 daughter of the late Philip and Angelina Mucci.
Connie was a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School and Hudson Valley Community College, earning an associate's degree in Accounting. Connie was employed for 36 years at the Albany County Department of Social Services until her retirement in 2010. She loved her co-workers and thoroughly enjoyed her job.
On August 21, 1971 she married Joseph V Dominski Jr in Albany and was happily married for 44 years. Connie was a devoted wife, mother and "nana". Family was everything to her. She enjoyed getting together no matter the occasion. She was a great hostess and loved to entertain. She loved going on family vacations, "craft night" with her daughter Gina, daughter in law Isabel and granddaughter Angelina. Connie loved listening to music and singing in the choir at Christ the King Christ church.
Most of all, Connie treasured every moment with her granddaughter Angelina Rose whom she referred to her as, "My Corazón".
Connie is predeceased by her her beloved husband, Joseph V. Dominski Jr., her brother Patrick J. Mucci and her niece Angelina Mucci Sillitto.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Gina and her husband, Dale Erno and their daughter, Angelina Erno and her son, Christopher J. Dominski and his wife Isabel Kalin; brother Dominic and his wife Deborah Mucci and sisters-in-law Beverly Mucci, and Deyette Mucci, several aunts and uncles, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00am at Christ the King Church , 20 Sumpter Ave, Albany, NY 12203. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, Ny 12205. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 5:30pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery.
