Constance F. Slish
November 2, 1927 — June 11, 2017
Latham- Constance F. Slish, 89, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Agnes Haskins. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph D. Slish.
Connie was an avid bowler and bingo player. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her children, Joseph Slish, Richard Slish (Joan) and Kathleen Henault (Kevin). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mandy and Richard Slish, Danielle and Cory Henault, Frank Koniszewski III, Lisa Higersberger (Mark), Michael Koniszewski (Bernadette) and Kasia Shunk (Chris) as well as thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her sister in law, Ruth Ann Metsinger (the late Clyde), and two brother in laws, Charles Bechtoldt (the late Mary) and Nicholas (Sonya) Slish.
Connie also leaves behind her siblings, Shirley Richardson, Pauline Goats and Robert Haskins.
She is predeceased by her brother Emory Haskins (Elaine) and her sister Colleen Dehler.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO BOX 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the 5th floor at St.Peter's Hospital.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:30am at the St. Agnes Mausoleum Chapel at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
