Corella B. Evans

BALLSTON LAKE - Deaconess Corella Brown Evans, our beloved mother, wife, relative and friend, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness. Corella was 73 years old.

Corella is survived by her husband Deacon Milton L. Evans, Sr. and their 5 sons Lee, Alan, Glenn, Warren and Ken; seven grandchildren Alexa, Aja, Jordan, Allisha, Jaxon, Renee, Glenn Jr., as well as her sister Peggy B. Lackey and her brother, Joe B. Brown Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

Homecoming services for Corella will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday September 26, 2012, at Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a member for 32 years. Visitation will precede the service from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friendship Baptist Church is located at 407 Union Street, Schenectady, NY. Interment Memory Gardens in Colonie.
