Corey Womack

COLONIE – Corey L. Womack, 18, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2007. He was born in Mountainview, CA and moved to Colonie when he was twelve. Corey attended Lisha Kill Jr. High. He was currently a senior at South Colonie Central High School where he participated in musical theater and chorus. Corey was voted "most unique" and "most musical" by the senior class. He was a member of the Tech Club at the high school and a member of the art club at the William K. Sanford Town Library. Corey loved to play video games and spend time with his friends. He is the beloved son of Joy C. Dutton and Jon (Lisa) Womack. He is the brother of Jacob, Madison and Casey Womack. Corey is the grandson of Ward Dutton, Nancy and Dee Glenn, Dr. Bob Clark and the late Betty Clark. He is the cherished nephew of Janna (Harry Bliss) Dutton, Robert (Bibbs) Dutton, Judy Dutton and Rusty (Wanda) Dutton. He is the loving cousin of Brianna Bootier, Cassie Dutton, Hannah Dutton and Olivia Bootier. Also surviving are many other cousins and special friends.
Funeral services will be Friday evening at 7:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to "Friends of Music", South Colonie Central High School, 1 Raider Blvd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Corey L. Womack.
