SCHENECTADY – Corinna Mary Burgess, 62, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Albany Medical Center after an illness. Born in Plattsburgh and raised in Schenectady, she was the daughter of George Parish, Sr., and Alice Parish.
Corinna was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Schenectady. She loved spending time with family.
Corinna was predeceased by her brother, Bruce Parish.
Along with her parents, she will be missed by her husband of 18 years, Frederick Burgess; son Anthony Parish; stepdaughters Fayelynn Faye and Larinda Burgess; siblings Sharon Mango, Jo-An Parish, Pamela Parish, Michele Hernandez, George Parish, Jr., Thomas Parish and Russell Parish; grandchildren Carinna, Marques, Jalicia, Elijeanah, Scott, Blessing, Heavenly, Jaden, Michael, Scott and Brandy Merrill, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
