SCOTIA - Corinne Remedes, 63, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021, leaving her at peace
and ending her suffering after years of courageously battling Huntington's Disease.
Born February 16, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Velma Conover.
Corinne was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, class of 1975. She was a hair dresser
for many years, fondly remembering the memories and friends she made throughout her career.
She loved spending time with family, who could always count on her for a good laugh or prank.
She is survived by her cherished only son, Nathan R. Remedes (Jill) and her grandson, Dylan,
whom she adored and loved to spoil. She is also survived by her brothers, Howard R. Conover
(Sandy), Gene Conover (David Spetla), Charles R. Conover (Cherry), sisters Paula Muncy and
Kelly Pahl, step-sister Kim Whitman, step-brothers Arden Bleser, Mark Whitman, and Brian
Whitman, in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Howard and Velma Conover, Corinne is predeceased by her brother,
Christian H. Conover (Rita), and sisters, Katherine J. Conover and Francine Conover.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff in the Neuro Unit at Sitrin Health
Care Center, for their compassionate and dedicated care of Corinne, who they lovingly doted as
the "Mayor of the Neuro Unit". We are forever grateful for all of you in always treating Corinne
as family and embracing the expectations and needs of the "Mayor", especially when always
finding her with a grin on her face.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
