LATHAM, NY – Cornelius P. Goes, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010. He was born in Amsterdam, Holland and immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. He has owned and operated Goes Electric since 1969. Cornelius is the beloved husband of the late Nancy Goes. He is the devoted father of Karen Willard and her husband, John of Latham, C. Peter Goes of Scotia and Paul Goes of Troy. He is the cherished grandfather of David (Rebecca), Eric and Brian Willard and Andrea and Christopher Goes. Also surviving is one great-granddaughter, Luciana Willard.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Cornelius P. Goes.
