Courtney Austin Rosencrans

Courtney Austin Rosencrans, 39, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Courtney was the son of William and Rita (Pagano) Rosencrans. He was the devoted husband to Jennifer Rosencrans.

He was a member and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.

He was a loving and devoted son, husband and father. He loved fishing, hunting, playing guitar, jogging, biking, but most importantly spending time with his family. His wife and daughter were the light of his life. His faith in God and strength through his ordeal inspires all of us to be better people.

In addition to his parents, William and Rita, Courtney is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Jennifer; their daughter Adelynn. He is also survived by his God parents, Lynn Harrington and Stanley Milos, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and his best friend, Sean Palladino.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Wednesday January 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday January 17, 2019 at 9:00 am at the funeral home and then to Blessed Sacrament church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Adelynn Rosencrans Educational Fund at any TRUSCO Bank.
