Craig Ciaccio, 58 of Altamont passed away May 1, 2020 after succumbing to Covid-19 contracted while recovering from endocarditis at The Grand, in Guilderland Center. Craig had many roles throughout his career, including running concession stands at NY State Parks, owner of Distribution Systems, Inc and working for Early Ford Reproductions. His last position was with Pollard's where he did internet sales. He lovingly cared for his parents in his final years. He loved cooking and gardening and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.
Craig is predeceased by his nephew Charles (CJ) Ciaccio III on May 15, 2012 and his Aunt Sue (H. Suzanne) Clemishire on April 21, 2020. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Prudence Ciaccio, brother Charles (Kathy) Ciaccio Jr. of Wachapreague, VA and sister, Karen (David) Cornelius of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by 3 nephews, Josh Shannon, Matthew Shannon and John Ciaccio, one niece, Katy (Noah) Eames and 3 great nieces.
Craig will be remembered with a celebration of his life at a later date.
The family thanks the staff at St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate and professional care during Craig's hospitalizations.
