Crystal Rose Vanepps

COLONIE, NY – Crystal Rose VanEpps, 21, passed away tragically on Friday, October 29, 2010. She was born in Albany and lived in Colonie for most of her life. Crystal was a graduate of Colonie Central High School. She will lovingly be remembered as a strong willed, independent young woman who was loving mother to her daughter Ava Rose. Crystal is the beloved daughter of Kelly L. (Rick) Dagner of Colonie and Daniel J. (Carmen) VanEpps of Albany. She is the devoted mother of Ava Rose VanEpps. Crystal is the cherished sister of Christina VanEpps and Daniel J. VanEpps, Jr., both of Colonie. She is the loving aunt of Ethan Francis. Crystal is the granddaughter of Joan Strohmaier and Frances Thomas. She is the step-sister of William and Jessica Castaneta. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
