SARATOGA SPRINGS- Curtis R. Schatz passed away into the Arms of the Lord on October 2, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital.
He was born in Schenectady, NY on September 1, 1939, the son of the late Kurt and Zilda Schatz.
He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College.
He served 4 years in the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in California.
Curtis retired from Sealy Mattress after 39 years of service.
He enjoyed spending time with his nephew Brian fishing and golfing with friends. He loved everyone that he met.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn; his cousin, Bernd and wife Joan Schatz; sister in law, Joan Schott; nephews, Brian Schott and Jeffrey Rodd and niece, Debra (Anthony) Cavallo.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Saratoga Hospital for their loving support and care for Curtis.
All services will be private at the request of the family.
