Albany – Cynthia M. Robert, 46, passed away at her home Sunday November 10th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of Clarence May and the late Dorothy Olszowy Burnash.
Cynthia was employed by The New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union Council 82, where she worked as a legal secretary for many years. Cynthia loved to travel with her husband, visit the ocean and spend time on their boat. She also loved to read books and was an accomplished horse rider, Painter, and gardener. Cynthia was a dedicated wife and mother, she was a friend to all, and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband Gerald. She is also survived by her cherished children; James Bleau, Zackary Bleau, Jessica Robert, Christopher Robert and her siblings; Deborah Wieland, Donald (Diane) Blaisdell, Stanley (Deanna Rosencrans) Blaisdell, Ernest (Amy Kinny) Burnash Jr., and Brian (Maureen) May. Cynthia is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her dear friends, and her dog Champ.
A memorial service for Cynthia will be held on Friday November 15th at 9 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Cythia's name to The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, 901 E Street NW Suite 405 Washington, D.C. 20004.
