Albany - Daisy L. Tucker was born on October 22, 1924, to the late Bessie and Allan Parker in Highpoint, North Carolina, as the youngest of five children. In 1935, the family moved to North Albany, where Daisy, along with her siblings, attended St. Phillips School and Church for spiritual growth and religious instruction.

As a young woman, Daisy frequently traveled between New York City and the Carolinas. She eventually settled in the Bronx, NY, where she met and married Charles Lewis. They were blessed with a daughter, Sandra Coleman. The family soon moved to Albany, but sadly, Charles passed away after a short illness. Daisy then secured a position with the New York State Audit and Control - Finance Department, where she worked for over 25 years until her retirement.
Daisy's adventurous spirit was evident in her love for travel, cruises, exploration, shopping, and family visits, while taking a chance on Lady Luck. She was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying horse racing, baseball, boxing, football, and tennis with her companion, Wonder K. Daisy was the ultimate armchair commentator, especially when Tiger Woods was on the green, interruptions were not tolerated, not even from Billy!
Daisy's love for her family was unwavering. She spoke daily with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished her communications with Yolanda, Lisa, and Shelia, and Keith was always close by.
