DELMAR - Dale K. Ditton, 80 passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26 at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gladys I. and William H. Voigt.
In her youth, Dale sang and danced on radio and television, in her teens she competed in Freestyle and Pairs Roller Skating. Dale was a graduate of the Guilderland High School class of 1959. As adults, Len and Dale did everything together, like peanut butter and jelly. They enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, Round and Square Dancing for many years. They were active in church developing the Human Development Committee at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Apalachin, NY. Dale also helped organize the Printing Craftsman organization in Albany and was the Ladies Chairperson in Binghamton. A very loving, dedicated mother, Dale volunteered for church youth groups, Stations of The Cross, chaperoned for Marching Band, coached Bowling and was a Girl Scout Leader for Holly.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Leonard B. Ditton; Holly and Donn Aiken, her daughter and son-in-law; Heather and Haley Aiken, her granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held September 4, 2021 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road in Colonie, NY. Relatives and friends are, invited to call at funeral home from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
