Dale A. Riegel

ALBANY- Dale A. Riegel died peacefully after a brief illness on February 21, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.
Dale was born on December 26, 1946 (same day as brother Tony in 1958) daughter of Arthur and Norma DeLuca.
Dale retired from AMC after 42 years of service.
She was a spirited and strong woman. She enjoyed visiting Saratoga Racetrack, especially on opening day. She had many memorable trips to Cape Cod, was a devoted Aunt to her nieces and nephews and adored her dog, Gabriel.
She was a member of Mater Christi Church and a Friend of Bill W. for over 30 years.
Dale shared her life with her Beloved, Edward Bonacker, his father, Harold Bonacker, his son, EJ Bonacker and his brother Bill Bonacker.
Dale is also survived by her father, Arthur DeLuca, Sr.; her siblings, Lisa (John) Tedesco, Sandra (George) McGowan, Nina (Gerald) Furman, Arthur "Tony" DeLuca, Jr. (Kathleen Williams) and Barbara T. DeLuca; sister-in-law, Barbara DeLuca, nieces and nephews, Tara (Tom) Riggs, Aimee (Mike) Geraci, Mia (Shaun) DeMaranville, Amanda Buda, Tony Tedesco, Jude (Amy) Kaiser and Matthew Kaiser; her great nieces and nephews, Anthony Luizzi, Mira Luizzi, Michael Geraci, Sophia Geraci, Zoe Geraci, Navarra DeMaranville, Vienna DeMaranville, Aria Buda, Livie Tedesco, Morgan Kaiser, Ryan Kaiser; her dear cousins especially Susan Redmond and Cynthia Laidaw in addition to her cousins on the DeLuca, Dunn and Knoop families.
She was predeceased by her mother, Norma and her brother, Michael.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Albany Medical Center, unit C6, for their care and compassion during Dale's time there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00am at Mater Christi Church, 40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2-5pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
In keeping with Dale's giving spirit, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
